Composite Decking

This product is manufactured from wood fiber and plastics to form a plank that requires less maintenance and typically has a much longer life expectancy than wood alone.  We only sell capped composite decking unlike what you would purchase at a big box store. .

     Composite Decking is a great altenative to a traditional wood surface because it will not expand and contract as much with the change in weather and seasons.  As a result, this type of decking will not crack, separate or splinter.  Depending on your location, composite decking also provides a level of security against insects, roadants and rot as well as being beautiful to look at and feels great on barefeet.

     Even though this type of decking is generally more expensive in the beginning, if you calculate the cost of annual staining or painting or repair it becomes more of a viable solution to your outdoor entertaining.  Many companies are also offering 20-25 year warranties on these products now with all of the advancements that have been made.

We used Timbertech composite boards for this project from their Terrain collection in a beautiful Brown Oak color.  Lastly, we finished off the project with low maintenance PVC railings from Colorguard.
